I had a problem with my 40" samsung tv. It had sound but no picture. I unplug it for over one minute but it didn't fix the problem. There is no setting option in the menu but it is a upgrade option and I could run it via internet. I just connected a yellow cable to internet and tv and click on connect to samsung and it update itself and now it works.

I’ll give that a go before pulling tv apart. Mine has standby light on but won’t turn on via remote or pressing the spot on touch control near standby light. Throwaway society when repairs aren’t that expensive and some folk enjoy the process

i have samsung ua40j5008akxxm. the problem is no picture but sound. this model has no t-con board. i have replaced a pieces of burnt led, but still no light when turn ON after 5 times indicator flashing. i have check voltages at power board to the backlight only one(+) point got 162v. any idea my dear friend?

My monitor 32AM702UN keeps restarting without any logo, I can hear sound and it also shows backlight for one second and goes blank, It doesn't go in restart loop if I disconnect the mainboard, I disconnected and reconnected all internal cables but didn't fix the issue, also tried steps in this video, Nothing is fixing it, Do you know where can I get cheap mainboard if I need to replace it ?

I have the samsung “UN65J6200AFXZA”, TV has sound but no picture, turned off all lights in the room until dark, I saw some back light in the bottom of screen for a while with HDMI word on top left corner and then disappeared, turn the TV off and then on again, same thing happened very low light then disappears. Please help me. My Samsung TV has no image but I can hear the sound (using menu button). I bought a T-con board and installed it. I kept the back part opened and when I’m plug it in on power the TCon burned something and a little black smoke appear. 😩

Sounds like our smart TVs have hit a learning curve. They forgot to let us see the tv programs. The previous TVs with tubes, lasted forever. Big Brother needs to stop watching...

Or lvds cable/ FPC cable
Also check tv backlight
So please check and replace the faulty parts.

Samsung has a problem. They built a defective tv.
Why should you have to call a technician or do constant resets.
These may be past warranty but the TVs are defective.
I have had nothing but problems with my 70 in samsung tv. From the 1st day it was installed. Now I have to switch the hdmi cable from port 1 to port 2 or reverse every time I want to watch a dvd movie. Every time. I am in my 70's. I can pull the tv out away from the wall to do it, but it's a hassle. And samsung can't explain why the ports work intermittently.
